MOUNT PLEASANT, SC — Today,Nancy Lacore, candidate for Congress in SC-01, released two cuts of her first general election ad, ‘Send in the Admiral.’ The six-figure ad buy will air on television and digital platforms across South Carolina’s first district as part of a larger investment in paid media to reach Lowcountry voters district-wide ahead of the general election.
‘Send in the Admiral’ highlights Nancy’s decades-long commitment to nonpartisan service to this country in the military as a three-star Admiral and Chief of Navy Reserve, setting her apart from typical politicians as a Lowcountry-first fighter who “won’t be bossed around in DC.” The spot draws a strong contrast between Nancy and the Washington political establishment by emphasizing her record of servant leadership and reinforces that she is the candidate who, in Congress, will be unafraid to stand up to party operatives on both sides of the aisle to make life safer and more affordable for South Carolina families.

AD TRANSCRIPT (30s):
They’ve called her a lot of things.
Navy helicopter pilot. Rear Admiral. Three-star Admiral. Chief of Navy Reserve. Nancy Lacore. Mom of six.
She led 60,000 sailors, held the line against China, served for 35 years – she won’t be bossed around in DC.
She’ll put people over party. She’ll secure the border, ban Members of Congress from stock trading, make healthcare affordable, put the Lowcountry first.
Washington has enough politicians. Send in the Admiral.
I’m Nancy Lacore, and I approve this message.
Nancy Lacore served our nation for 35 years in the Navy, a career that began as a helicopter pilot and culminated as a three star admiral and the Chief of Navy Reserve where she was entrusted to lead more than 60,000 sailors. She spent her career juggling her military service with raising her six children, eventually moving from active duty to the Navy Reserve where she was deployed twice – to Afghanistan in 2011, and to Djibouti in 2017. When Pete Hegseth removed her from her post without explanation in 2025, she decided to continue her service to our country in Congress. A commitment to service, family, and country has shaped every chapter of Nancy’s life, and it continues to guide what comes next. Nancy wore the uniform for 35 years, but her dedication to this country and its people didn’t end when she took it off. In this next chapter, Nancy is ready to put her experience, her values, and her voice to work for every family in South Carolina’s first congressional district.
