Overview
Jenny Honeycutt is a political insider and corrupt politician who can’t be trusted. She supports policies that will gut health care to pay for tax breaks for billionaires and data centers, and she does the bidding of local developers pushing massive growth and overdevelopment in the Lowcountry.
Summary
Beginning in Week 3, voters across the district need to see TV ads on broadcast and cable along with ads on streaming, YouTube and Meta about how:
Jenny Honeycutt – a typical, corrupt politician – supports giving tax cuts to billionaires, and giving billions back to big tech companies building data centers to benefit her developer clients., This is paid for by gutting Medicaid and kicking nearly 30,000 people in the Lowcountry off their health coverage. This puts South Carolina hospitals at risk of closing and drives up health insurance costs for everyone, even those who have insurance from their job. While supporting these tax cuts, she says we need to "make difficult decisions" about Social Security and Medicare.
She even supports $80 billion in tax breaks for data center developers, and says “data centers should be here.” It’s clear she’s just another corrupt politician who can’t be trusted to stand up for the Lowcountry – in Washington, she would answer to her donors, not us.
Black voters, especially those with sporadic midterm vote histories and/or in these zipcodes, need to see ads on digital, specifically YouTube, hear radio ads, and see mail saying that:
Nancy Lacore isn't a career politician. Nancy Lacore served our nation for 35 years in the Navy, starting as a helicopter pilot, then becoming a three star admiral and Chief of Navy Reserve. That’s why she hasn't taken a dime of corporate PAC money. She doesn't even own a single stock. She says Washington politicians are rigging the system against regular people, and she'll lead the charge to ban members of Congress from trading stocks, get dark money out of our elections, and make sure politicians in Washington are focused on helping working families, not lining their own pockets.
Nancy Lacore believes no one should go broke just because they get sick, and no one should have to choose between filling a prescription and filling the fridge. She knows how it feels when a health crisis hits your family – once racing home from a war zone the day she learned her daughter had cancer. In Congress, she'll take on our broken health care system by reversing the devastating health care cuts that have caused premiums to skyrocket on everyone, and she’ll stand up to the big drug and insurance companies jacking up costs.
