Mount Pleasant, SC – Tonight, Nancy Lacore resoundingly won the first debate in South Carolina’s First Congressional District. Nancy demonstrated that she is prepared to lead on day one and actually deliver results for the Lowcountry.

The following statement can be attributed to Lacore campaign manager Kaylie Haberstroh:

“Once again Nancy Lacore showed why Democrats and Republicans alike are supporting her campaign rooted in service, not politics. As Jenny Honeycutt played the role of cheerleader for data centers and failed to defend her support on reckless policies that are driving up costs for working families, Nancy demonstrated that she’ll be a work horse, not a show horse in Congress. Nancy offered real solutions and reminded voters that she’ll work with anyone to deliver results. While Nancy committed to bringing a fresh perspective and renewed work ethic to Washington, Jenny Honeycutt offered more of the same corrupt, failed, hyper-partisanship that has left South Carolina families behind. The choice in this race couldn’t be more clear: another self-serving politician, or the type of service-oriented, thoughtful, results-driven leadership Nancy will bring to Washington.”
