Mount Pleasant, SC – Tonight, Jenny Honeycutt reaffirmed her support for data center development in the Lowcountry. She said in last week’s debate that data centers “can be extremely valuable.” She has been loud and clear about her support for building data centers in the Lowcountry, saying “data centers should be here” in a forum earlier this year and invested up to $470,000 in stocks in data centers and AI companies. In stark contrast, Nancy Lacore has called for a moratorium on data centers being built in South Carolina and will fight for federal guardrails to ensure the costs fall on the corporations, not consumers and will protect the Lowcountry’s natural resources.
THE FACTS ABOUT HONEYCUTT:
In the primary debate earlier this year, Honeycutt said “data centers should be here.”

In stark contrast, Nancy Lacore does not own any stocks and will fight to ban members of congress from buying and selling stocks.
