Admiral Nancy Lacore Releases βThe Lowcountry,β Second Television Ad of SC-01 Democratic Primary
Press Release | May 27, 2026CONTACT:Kaylie Haberstroh | kaylie@nancylacore.comβ
Mount Pleasant, SC β Admiral Nancy Lacore today released her second television advertisement of the Democratic Primary in South Carolinaβs 1st Congressional District.
The ad is part of an ongoing six-figure paid media investment districtwide, spanning across broadcast television, cable, streaming, radio, and digital platforms in the final weeks before the June 9 Democratic Primary.
Titled βThe Lowcountry,β the spot draws a connection between the values Lacore learned over her 35 years in the Navy and the values she sees represented across the Lowcountry: service, sacrifice, resilience, and love of country. It highlights her experience leading 60,000 sailors through times of crisis, framing her campaign for Congress as a continuation of a lifetime of service.
The ad also speaks directly to economic frustrations facing families across the district, including rising costs, veterans struggling to access healthcare, and distrust in national political leadership.
Lacore launched her campaign earlier this year, and raised over $1 million within her first ten weeks on the trail. Lacore has been actively campaigning since initially announcing her candidacy, participating in forums, county conventions, and hosting events - meeting voters where they are throughout the Lowcountry. Additionally, Lacore has earned national endorsements from The Bench, EMILYs List, VoteVets, and New Politics.
The ad will air districtwide on broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital platforms today through the June 9 Primary Election.
βThe Lowcountryβ Script:
Thereβs no place like the Lowcountry. Reminds me a lot of the military.
Hard-working people who love their country and put service first.
Iβm Democrat Nancy Lacore.
I served in the U.S. Navy for 35 years and led 60,000 sailors through times of crisis.
The crisis today is people work hard and canβt get ahead, veterans canβt get healthcare, and politicians are loyal to a broken system.
Iβm running for Congress to put service first β like the Lowcountry does.
Iβm Nancy Lacore and I approve this message
